I HATE MY IPHONE!

Who said they can't send and receive text messages?  On iPhone you have SMS but no MMS, in other words you can send and receive texts but you can't send and receive multimedia.  So when someone takes a picture on their $30 phone and sends it to you the only way you can see it is to go to a website and login to see it....and you can't save it.  And the only way you can return the favor is to email your friend a picture.

I do agree about the protective no-slip covering however the phone can fall out of your pocket when you are in reclined positions..it's happened to me.

The dialing number in the pocket...not sure how that happens with iPhone...that's pretty much worked out in all phones these days.

Not sure who said they were with a different service and tried to get their phone fixed...that's silly if they did...haha

Yes they are trying to rip you off...what's what apple and att do...find my previous post for some examples.  And they never offered to pay the difference in price when they dropped it $200 back when it came out...I bought an original 8GB and the only thing apple offered when they cut prices was to give a $100 rebate when you bought another piece of their junk at the apple store or online store....I don't agree with what they did..but at the same time I blame myself for buying one so soon when I even knew they would cut the price eventually..but believe me..apple isn't trying to help your pocketbook in any way ever.

Everything you are complaining about has nothing to do with apple. the inability to send and recieve text messages? Um, do you have texting on your cell phone plan because im 100% positive and would bet my life that the iphone lets you send text messages.

You're blaming GRAVITY for dropping your phone?? Get a no slip grip cover on your phone, butterfingers. And, unless there is a hole in your pocket, it wouldn't just fall out of your pocket. I believe you were carelessly retrieving it from your pocket.

How are you dialing numbers from inside your pocket?? Genius, sweetheart, there is a lock key on the top of your phone. PRESS IT!

Apple signed a contract with AT&T. Of course they can't fix it if it isn't activated with AT&T...they paid money to provide service for the iphone, so naturally they aren't going to go around fixing phones that people rigged to different services.


Your phone smudges because you don't have the protective covering over the screen. With the protective covering not only are you smudge free, but its safer for your screen. OCD about smudges? I have to ask because that's a hilarious complaint.


Fatass, slim down a little and it might not be so hard to type on the virtual keyboard you hate so much. Like everything, it takes getting used to.


And people...yes it's expensive, but they aren't trying to rip you off...otherwise when they found a cheaper way to make it they wouldn't have offered the difference money back if you simply took it to the store with reciept.

Silly people. Iphones not for complainers!

I started of only kinda liking my iphone, i should have returned it right then... but didn't. Now I'm stuck with a piece of crap brick that besides having problems with syncing, sending picture e-mails has now reached an all new low which is no sound ta da.  I can no longer be heard or hear the other person when making calls unless I'm on speaker phone... it has not been a good 2 days with this crap.  So tomorrow I will be up with apple support in which they are going to tell me that i will have to send it in for service which leaves me SOL and without a phone for 2ish weeks... I love my ipod, but hate my piece of crap iphone.

Bought it, loved it broke one the first day, broke the second one a month later. I'm buying a blackberry.

I hate my iphone!  Its the worst piece of crap I've ever bought!  I've bought a lot of useless phones in my time but the iphone takes the cake.  The software is a mess!  It doesn't back up all my information so all my new additions dissapear when I resink.   I get a 'no service' message all the time when I'm in my zone, so I have to go the iphone store and they just reset my phone then I have to go home and sink my phone again then the whole process starts over.  The is virtually no support for the iphone.  No one knows how to fix it; at the ATT store or the ATT repair store or the iphone store.  All they can do is scratch their heads, reboot my phone and send me on my way again.  I spend more time in the iphone store than I do using my iphone.  I can't send pictures attached with my texts.  The GPS can't locate my position closer than 4 to 8 blocks.  I can't download directions most of the time.  I'm always nervious with anticipation every time I tried to use my maps because it never works when I need it most.  The iphone is the biggest piece of crap I've ever wasted my time, money and energy on and I wish I never heard of it!  Take my advice, go by a $99 phone that does the exact same thing1

I've had my iPhone for about a year.  If you're thinking of buying one....don't ....  I test software for a living.  This thing is half baked.  I'll never buy an Apple product after this.  I'm stuck for another year. Then I'll bail.  No copy paste, no SEARCH.  It screwed up my calendar.  It has big trouble going from AT&T to wireless for internet.  I've had it freeze up several times (less now with the latest patch admittently).  STAY AWAY.  Apple is making too much money on this thing.  I heard the new phone still doesn't have cut and paste or search... tell me... how can that be????  I wan't my PALM back.  My 10 year old palm could cut and paste and search.
